SEND School
East Midlands
Project #12
The project involved renovating and extending a vacant, unmodernised former preparatory school, replacing flat roofs, repairing interiors, and restoring finishes to create a high specification SEN school for 40 children with SEMH. External repairs included the facade, windows, and outdoor areas. Renovated with a DDA-compliant toilet extension, three new garden pods (classroom, sensory room, therapy room), and six classrooms for 40 pupils. An efficient heating system was installed to improve environmental performance. Outdoor spaces enhanced for forest schooling.
